SILVER LAKES GYMNASTICS

Thank you for your support in helping our students achieve their goals and dreams. Your participation is sincerely appreciated!

Support of our local businesses plays an important role in the development of our Silver Lakes gymnastic Team.  We live in a society where tremendous emphasis is placed on competition, yet research makes two things very clear:

            1. The main reason children play sports is to have fun.

2. The reason children quit their sport is due to an over emphasis     on winning at the expense of fun.

 Building self esteem in students is one of the most fundamental issues of our time. Our dedicated gymnasts have a lasting influence on the younger students in their care. Our instructors are more than educators, they teach our children to believe in themselves. By doing so,  they prepare the students for life and teach them how to deal with fears, desires, and/or weaknesses.

 We now have the opportunity to promote gymnastics in Silver Lakes. We believe that there is potential here for  increasing participation in recreational and competitive gymnastics without regard to age or ability. Sponsor fees will be used to acquire needed equipment and to help with the gymnast’s local meets as well as nationals expenses. Without generous assistance from businesses such as yours, our team would not be able to accomplish their goals.
